Sunderland are going mental on transfer deadline day and I am getting a little emotional if I am being honest. Amidst the furor surrounding Yann M'Vila's pending arrival, Didier Ndong has been confirmed.
The Gabon international signs a five year deal costing around £13.5 million, a little less than the reported £17 million that was thrown around yesterday. It is another signing from absolutely nowhere and ticks off the first of, apparently, four arrivals expected today.
We wrote up a little bit more about the midfielder yesterday, so click here to read up on that. Speaking about the move, Ndong said;
"Today is the most beautiful day of my life."Let's be honest it's been a horrible summer so far. Though if today goes as well as it seems like it is we could end up with an exciting squad and a day to remember.
