Player Ratings & Comments - Poor defensive performance from Sunderland who were presented glorious opportunity
Sunderland took the lead twice against leaders Hull but failed to kill off the game. The result becomes more frustrating as Peterborough lost at home to Gillingham - it's Player Ratings & Comments!
Going forward the Lads didn't miss Aiden McGeady too much who missed the game due to swelling in his foot. Goals from Jordan Jones and Grant Leadbitter should have been enough but for some poor defending from Sunderland almost guaranteeing Hull and Peterboroughs promotion to the Championship.
We sit seven points adrift of Peterborough, who are just two wins away from mathematically sealing promotion, Hull only need one more point in their last three games given their vastly superior goal difference.
Now it is your chance to evaluate the player performances in the only interactive post-match feature for Sunderland fans. We've continued to include Lee Johnson to the line-up (at the bottom) so you can drop a rating and some comments about the manager too.
It's easy to take part, just scroll down and select a rating for each player. Once you do that, you'll notice a comments box pop up which you can use to tell us more about what you thought of that player. Your comments, and ratings, will feature in our round up feature which you can see the latest of here from the Blackpool game.
